I am home. Returned to suburbia for a weekend. Where is this place you wondered? Illinois of course. It feels great to be home, boring and quiet, in a good way. Visit family, hang out with old friends, drive around, and things are cheap.
The last time I was home was about 7 or 8 months ago, where I came back to gather my belongings and moved out of here. Life is calm here compared to the diligent life of the city. As I drove down the streets, it actually feels different and relaxing. None of the horn honking and cars everywhere (except during rush hours). I’m enjoying it so far and will continue to do so. Until then, I will see you Monday.

Where from Illinois are you from? I was born and raised in Illinois as well. I live in the Joliet/Shorewood area and work in Naperville. Where you located?
