Yo-Yos, it is one of the greatest toys invented. I ordered a YoYoJam KickSide from TheYoStore. When I ordered it on Monday I didn’t realize they were located in Hawaii and I thought it would take at least a whole week before I get my hands on it. Well I’m happy & excited because I just got it, they even included a free pack of strings, brain lube and a suction cup to remove the side caps with. The KickSide is a great starter/intermediate yo-yo, good for plenty of string tricks. I myself haven’t been able to perform much tricks yet but I shall learn many, only time will tell.
Why did I get a yo-yo? Well many of my friends and coworkers know that I keep a large rubber ball in my pocket and when we go out, it is my form of entertainment when I’m waiting. The problem with the ball is that you need a surface or wall to bounce on and sometimes the surface isn’t so clean, so we would be left there standing and just talking.
Yo-Yos are pretty complex now, when I was a kid I remember they only have fixed axial. Now there are ball bearings, o-rings, starbursts, and brake pads. The yo-yos can be modified and upgraded. Crazy! Overall I’m happy with my starter yo-yo and slowly make my way up (maybe).

I always prefer to check out the security arrangement of wherever I’m waiting, and think of how I could make it better. Usually it involves tanks, AWACS, and fighter planes.
Remember when I broke your yo-yo when you were little? The string where it ties up at the axle was loose, that was similar to the ball-bearing yo-yo. I did you a favor man!
I’m glad you got your yo-yo earlier then you thought. I carry a tiny note pad with me every where I go, so when I feel the need to write my thoughts or feelings down or if I’m just really bored, I pull it out and start writing. I hope you enjoy your yo-yo and let me know when you’ve perfected a trick, so I can see you in action. By the way, I like the color of your yo-yo. ^_^

We were wondering if you could help us out since you work at Xanga.
My friends and I, strictly for fun, made an online competition called “Xanga’s Next Top Model”.
We have 10 finalists who go through this experience with photography, modeling different themed assignments, and each week one girl goes home until there is a winner.
We worked on Cycle 1 successfully on our own, but we’ve been down in the dumps lately with preparing/casting for Cycle 2. We need 10-12 finalists for the premiere on December 6.
We really need help from the leaders of Xanga. Sponsorship if you will. We aren’t professional like LiveJournal, and we know that, this is all in good fun. But we were wondering if you could help us out by putting an add on the front page of Xanga or just messages to people.
We have open casting calls, The applicants can just come by our site and answer a questionaire of questions like favorite things.
We need girls ages 13-17, frequent updaters, some experience in photography to apply by November 29, 2006, which is when the finalists are announced.
