  • Would you….?

Would you take someone else’s laundry out of the washer so that you can get going on yours?

This is the 2nd time that has happened to me, except it’s 2 different person. Both times when I reached the laundry room they’re just starting to load the machine(s). Do they not give me any buffer time for me to get to the basement from my apartment? I live on the freaking 5th floor you punks. I have a timer set and I leave right after times up. Can’t they at least wait a couple of minutes?!?! #%!$#^@$  Laundry campers.

I don’t think you should go as far as touching someone else’s personal belongings because you failed to beat that person to the washer. It happened to me once where I wanted to do my laundry but someone else beat me to it. When their wash time was up I waited 5 minutes longer before heading down stairs, what did I find when I reached the basement? Their freaking clothes was still in the washers, so I headed back up with my load and waited 10 more minutes. Then I proceed again to check it and again they didn’t claim their crap! I waited another 20 minutes and they freaking still didn’t do anything!! By that time I just gave up, I already wasted 35 minutes and decided to do my laundry the next day. I should of put detergent into their load since they wasted my time and make them wash it again. (Each load takes 35 minutes to wash)

What is your problem? It’s not my fault that you’re too slow, you’re the one who should of done it when I’m not. I have the right of way and I didn’t even start it til 11 PM. I don’t wash my clothes and forget it, I know when it’s done and I will go put it in the dryer myself so stop touching my clothes with your dirty hands! I wouldn’t even want to touch someone else’s clothing even though they washed it, especially the underwear load!

Some people just doesn’t have any patience. You snooze you lose!! Admit it!!

  • haha I guess you’ll have to get down there before your load finishes so you can defend your underwear from the laundry campers

  • I’m not arguing with that. Although, it’s always nicer to have your own washer and dryer. People can just be so rude.

  • You need to collect the funkiest, dirtiest, most foul smelling clothes possible and drop them in the washer.  And leave them there.  Or maybe you could throw something red into one of their white loads.

  • hahahahaha calm down jon!! i wouldn’t take their clothes out either.. yucky.

oh yeah, i’ll consider the safety of the children.. kinda.. lol

  • their thinking is that they don’t know when the owner will come back.

  • Living in dorms for the last three years, that kind of stuff happens so often it’s not even a taboo on campus. I think if you waited so long for them and they were so impatient with you, you might as well return the favor and remove their laundry. Or you could just get your own machines…which of course might not be possible in all buildings.

  • dude i have done that way too many times. if they left their basket/bag i just stuff it all in there for them and get my own shit in

  • I’ve been on both sides of this, Jon. But, the last time I lived in a big apartment with a sizable laundry room. Unfortunately, I have no idea whether those washed clothes had been sitting there for 2 minutes or 2 hours.

What I’ve learned, was to come back down (I lived on the 8th floor, wash room on 2nd floor) at least 5 mnutes before my time is up. This way, nobody would need to touch my belongings before I get there.

What I hate is people who do this on dryers that are still spinning/drying, still have a few minutes in, just to tag on the extra drying time for their wash. That’s stealing.

  • yayyy gundam!

    ..sry random props. >.>

  • get a small laptop with wifi and camp by the machine until its done. and carry a long stick with you so you can whack people who come near by.

    haha

  • it’s called… add bleech into their load…and wash it again ..

  • actually… if I’ve waited long enough and they still haven’t picked up their laundry.. I would. The machine isn’t theirs to hog.

  • I wait 10 mins for a washer 5 for a dryer. im not gonna leave my clothes in the washer and inconvience someone else just cause a little mofo doesnt have a timer. not my problem.

  • I hate when people move my clothes, but I have done it before.  If the washers are all busy and it’s been a while since the load was finished, I’d definitely move their clothes.    You could try putting a sign on the washer with a threat to keep all hands off…

  • TAG UR IT!! This is so scary. Send this to 15 people in the next 143 mins. When you are done press F6 and your crushes name will appear on the screen in big letters. This is scary cuz it works!! if you break the chain you will have problems with relationships for the next 5 years
    JUST COPY AND PASTE!!!

  • sorry to hear that….. but I agree… I would never touch someone else’s laundry…. especially strangers…. that’s nasty….

  • If you find someone’s moved your laundry, take theirs out of the machine and put yours back in -again-. xD

  • Oh, gosh. I’d never take someone’s laundry out. Man, but I’d get mad if someone just left theirs in the machine for that long after it’s done. Bleh.

  • hey there. it’s been a long time since i’ve visited xanga. hows life? and by the way, i hate laundry mats. people are lazy and inconciderate and tend to leave “left overs” whenever it’s your turn. i wouldn’t touch (and haven’t touched) someone else’s laundry even if it had been washed… ewww.

  • HEY WAZ UP JON

  • r u hott

  • hi, can you help  me? i wanna know who have come to my site, then my friend helped me but we both couldn’t see anything. it’s work in her computer but not in mines..

  • you havent xanga’ed in a while.

  • hey hows it going! where u at now????

  • looks like it works now.. haha at 6am CST anyway…

*my apt comes with own washer + dryer just for our apt.. muhahahahhahh

  • man htats just cold

  • That is really rude and gross…people have no manners!!!

  • Touching other people’s (finished) laundry is not that big of deal (clean clothes… guaranteed to be clean), but if you do the impatient thing and move their laundry, you may get a thong/g-string… and that is awkward.

  • This is a hot issue. If someone had moved my clean laundry from the washer I would be livid. It was all nice and clean and they touched it. I don’t know where their hands have been. I don’t want them sullying un garments. That would be especially rude if there were personals like bras and underwear invovle and then depending where they put it when taking it out they have further debased my belonging because I know what happens in all night laundry area and those counter are none to clean.

I say it’s definately taboo until you’ve been waiting 15 minutes and then it’s only acceptable if there are no other machine available.

I myself have never had this happen to me as I love laundry mats. That personal time for magazines and studying.

  • Just put on some disposable gloves that take thier clothes out.

  • In my dorm we had 300 people sharing 6 washers and 6 dryers. We moved people’s clothes all the time. I usually gave them 5 minutes to check their machine and if they didn’t show up then out the clothes went and in went mine. Mine got moved sometimes too if I was late and it’s no big deal. Snooze you lose, that goes both ways.
