Would you take someone else’s laundry out of the washer so that you can get going on yours?

This is the 2nd time that has happened to me, except it’s 2 different person. Both times when I reached the laundry room they’re just starting to load the machine(s). Do they not give me any buffer time for me to get to the basement from my apartment? I live on the freaking 5th floor you punks. I have a timer set and I leave right after times up. Can’t they at least wait a couple of minutes?!?! #%!$#^@$  Laundry campers.

I don’t think you should go as far as touching someone else’s personal belongings because you failed to beat that person to the washer. It happened to me once where I wanted to do my laundry but someone else beat me to it. When their wash time was up I waited 5 minutes longer before heading down stairs, what did I find when I reached the basement? Their freaking clothes was still in the washers, so I headed back up with my load and waited 10 more minutes. Then I proceed again to check it and again they didn’t claim their crap! I waited another 20 minutes and they freaking still didn’t do anything!! By that time I just gave up, I already wasted 35 minutes and decided to do my laundry the next day. I should of put detergent into their load since they wasted my time and make them wash it again. (Each load takes 35 minutes to wash)

What is your problem? It’s not my fault that you’re too slow, you’re the one who should of done it when I’m not. I have the right of way and I didn’t even start it til 11 PM. I don’t wash my clothes and forget it, I know when it’s done and I will go put it in the dryer myself so stop touching my clothes with your dirty hands! I wouldn’t even want to touch someone else’s clothing even though they washed it, especially the underwear load!

Some people just doesn’t have any patience. You snooze you lose!! Admit it!!

I finally got a chance to install Windows Vista beta 2 on a spare machine.  I tried it on a virtual machine but it was just way too slow.

Vista machine specs:

Shuttle SS56L, P4 2.8 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, GeForce 6600GT

As of now I’m writing this with Vista on IE 7.0.5384.4 and I already ran into rendering problems on the Xanga front page, Xanga Dash crashed it, using spell check on the editor crashed it. So yes I am rewriting what I lost.

Couple of minutes into playing around with the OS I already experience the enhanced security.  When I tried to launch a program or install a program it prompts me for administrative access to allow the program to run.  Also when I want to paste something into this post it asks me “Do you want to allow this website to access your clipboard?”.  Now I haven’t used IE 7 until now so I’m not sure if it’s an IE 7 feature or Vista feature.  I had some services that stopped working and some theme rendering issues but it’s not that bad.

The Aero glass theme is pretty cool and the effects are fun to watch but I have to admit that Apple already have them.  Vista also have a ‘Windows sidebar’ that look like the Yahoo! widgets and the Apple widgets except they called them ‘Gadgets’.  You can add these gadgets in like a bigger clock, CPU meter, currency converter, etc.  Although I haven’t find any of them useful yet except for the CPU meter to keep an eye on the system usage.  Right now it keeps hovering around 4 – 10% as I’m typing and it’s using 47% of my memory.

My goal is to use Vista for my everyday operation and get a feel for it until I had enough of it.  Although I’m not going to try to play any games on it I’ll just use it for work and stuff.  I’m pretty excited about it and hopefully the final product will launch as planned.  I’ll try to continue to share my Vista experience with you, now I’m going to hit submit and cross my fingers.

I setup a VPN connection and everytime I connect to it the machine crashes .  I guess I won’t be using it for work.

Saturday night I stopped by the Nintendo store with a few peeps (Joel, Dave, Patrick and Matt), in hope to get inline and buy a DS Lite at midnight. According to their website it stated that it will have live DJ, Mario and food. Once we got there we find a line that stretched a little less than half an avenue block and a lame DJ hosting a little Nintendo trivia for the beloved fans. We watched from across the street and a bit later Mario himself showed up to greet the fans, then we just left when it got boring.

Moving on to a livelier topic…I’ve been growing a venus fly trap for a while, more like a year or so.  It’s been sprouting pretty quickly for the past couple of weeks.  When I checked on it today I noticed these little traps at the end of the leaves.  The next step is to feed it some meat so it’ll grow bigger.
