Can’t believe another generation of high performance video cards are here.  I was pretty excited to see some benchmarks of the GeForceFX from HardOCP AnandTech TomsHardware and ExtremeTech, what a massive heatsink it’s got!  What surprised me wasn’t the scores but the price of the card ($399).  For about $250 on Pricewatch you can get yourself a nice ATI Radeon 9700 Pro matching the new FX’s performance.  Also from what I’ve heard 2 weeks after the FX’s launch, ATI will be releasing their new video card the R350.  What a crazy computing world!!  While I’m still stuck here with my GeForce256 DDR from 2 years ago!!  I suppose it’s a good time for me to save up some money now and buy the hottest card in the market when I have saved enough.
